The purpose of the School Council:
 Advisory board to the school administrative staff; solicits input from parents, community, and staff members; reviews educational literature and data; and makes recommendations for school improvement.

Membership
of School Council will consist of:

                 School Principal

Two Parents/Guardians of currently enrolled students and are not employees of GPS
Two Teachers from within the school
One non-certificated employee from within the school
One community member
One student if the school is a High School
